Family Today

What would the Holy Family look like if born in our time into poverty today? Would they have turned up looking for food? The picture tells its own story, waiting for food at the food pantry week before Christmas.

Normandin Middle School Supports Pantry

Last Thursday morning the pantry picked up over 60 cartons of food that the students at Normandin Middle School had collected for us. The food was distributed to visitors to our pantry that very afternoon! The hard work and generosity of the students and the staff at Normandin is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Blanket Drive

Please join St. Anthony of Padua Food Pantry in our efforts to keep our fellow neighbors warm this winter. Our goal is to raise 1008 fleece blankets and distribute them to the needy in our community this holiday season. The blankets are charity discounted 50% off from our friends at NorthEast Fleece and are only $5.00 each. With as little as $20.00 your generous donation will keep four neighbors warm this cold winter season. Please help us spread the word about this local blanket drive, through your support we can raise awareness about homelessness in America. Together we can make a difference. Please visit http://fleeceforpeace.causevox.com/st-anthony-of-padua-food-pantry to make your donation.

A Large Crowd, Good Fun and Helping Hands

The lines at  the pantry are getting longer as the winter months approach. The pantry served over 400 people last week. Even with the long lines and the extra work the many volunteers joined in the Halloween spirit. Seminarians from Sacred Heart joined us to help out.
