Summer. Hot. Still Happy to be Helping.

In this final week of July the temperature and humidity in New Bedford have combined to provide steamy conditions.  Not so surprising. It happens pretty much ever year around this time. Summer. It is also not surprising that our volunteers, from the newest and youngest to the veterans of many years service, are hard at work and happy to be here helping. Smiling even.

Summer Vacation Volunteers

This week we welcomed extra help from a happy and enthusiastic group of about a dozen summer vacation volunteers. The thoughtfulness and caring shown by these young persons in giving of their time and energy is greatly appreciated by our regular volunteers and our pantry patrons. With a little effort Stacie was able to corral some of these volunteers long enough for a quick photo. Thank you to all ... and see you next week.
