A Large Crowd, Good Fun and Helping Hands
The lines at the pantry are getting longer as the winter months approach. The pantry served over 400 people last week. Even with the long lines and the extra work the many volunteers joined in the Halloween spirit. Seminarians from Sacred Heart joined us to help out.

Thank You to SMFOA
Southeastern Massachusetts Football Officials Association for their generous donation to the Food Pantry. President Joseph Flynn has members bring non-perishable items to their weekly meetings. Every month they donate all they collect to local food pantrys in the southeast region. Thank you to Kyle Canastra for delivering all the boxes of food.

Thank you to Stacie Hallal, Fred Despres, and their great group of volunteers. And thank you also to the Knights of Columbus who provided the tickets, Joel Cosmo who donated the TV and Ismeal Perez who donated the blue ray player, and all the additional persons who helped make the Clam Cake and Chowder Food Pantry Fundraiser a big success. The total raised was $3234.00 The funds collected will help to defray the cost of a police detail which could cost up to $7800.00 yearly.
